In 2007, both the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate passed resolutions proclaiming March 30th as National “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day” (WHVVD). On May 18, 2010, Connecticut’s Governor M. Jodi Rell signed into law HB 5352 which declared March 30th
“Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day”; becoming the second state to do so.
